Sweet Bones & Butts Pork Rub was crafted with one goal in mind – creating the perfect sweet barbecue rub for pork. After more than a year of development and ingredient sourcing, this blend delivers the balance of sweetness, colour and flavour that great BBQ demands.
At the heart of the rub are rich maple sugar and deep, dark Javanese sugar. Together they create a beautiful caramelisation during cooking, forming the glossy crust and sticky “bone candy” finish that makes ribs and smoked pork so irresistible.
When used on pork shoulder, the sugars slowly melt and caramelise as the meat cooks, helping build flavour-packed bark while complementing the natural richness of the pork.
